“Stratus Unplugged is an invaluable tool when I’m out of the office. With clients, I can quickly satisfy their curiosity with listing information about houses we drive by instead of telling them, "I'll look it up back at the office". They are very impressed with the level of service I provide. I get instant property records on FSBO'S and the full color photos of homes are great. Unplugged is easy and simple to use.”

Uploading photos for your listings, but they aren’t saving

Bill Paris, MLS Technician

If you are uploading photos for your listing and they appear in the preview window but not when the listing is displayed in search you need to keep in mind that the Photo Upload program locally displays the photo you have selected. The actual upload does not take place until you click the save photo button and send the photo to the system. For the best result when uploading photos, remember:

  • Large photos will take a longer time to upload than smaller photos. Try and keep the file size of the photo as small as possible.
  • You can only upload photos in a JPG format. Make sure the photo you are trying to upload is not a bitmap or gif.
  • The speed of the upload process depends mostly on the speed of your Internet connection.
  • With a cable modem or DSL line, the upload process is very quick but can still take up to thirty seconds.
  • The upload time is increased on a dialup where it could take a few minutes for each photo to be uploaded.

Since the process is not immediate and may take some time, you need to be patient and let the process complete. And be sure to click save for each photo you upload!
