When I search in Stratus, old results are displayed?
Bill Paris, MLS Technician
To try and make your Internet experience faster, Internet Explorer
saves old
versions of the web sites you visit so that it doesn’t have to
download the whole page later. This is great for websites that changes
very little over time, but causes old information to be displayed in
websites that change often (i.e. CNN.com or Stratus) to correct this:
- Open Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Across the top of the Internet Explorer Window, click the “Tools” option.
- Under Tools drop down menu, click “Internet Options”.
A new window will open.
- In the center of the Internet Options window, click “Settings” button.
- In the settings window, make sure that the refresh setting is on “Every
Visit to the Page”. Click “OK”.
- Next to the Settings button, click Delete
Files button.
- In the popup box that appears, make sure to put a check next to “Delete
all offline content” and click OK.
(It may take several minutes for this to complete.)
- Click “Apply” in the bottom right hand
corner and then click OK.
